What materials are the stamps machined from?

We machine our tools from premium 5/8-inch thick solid brass, which is stress-relieved in-house to prevent warping under thermal load. This specific alloy provides optimal, uniform heat transfer and allows for machining incredibly fine details without degrading. Stainless steel is also available upon request.

How deep is the logo engraved?

Our stamps are milled down to a deep 0.125" relief with a 30° taper angle, utilizing a 100-micron tip—the finest micro-detailing tool available on the market. This deep, precise clearance ensures your logo leaves a flawless mark without ever leaving accidental background witness marks on your workpiece.

Will this stamp fit my existing arbor press or heating iron?

Stamps come standard with a metric M8 x 1.25mm threaded hole. For arbor press use, we recommend leaving the stamp unattached to allow it to self-level dynamically on your workpiece under compression. While the standard threading fits many setups, we cannot guarantee optimal results on third-party heating equipment.

What is the difference between your wood and a leather branding iron?

Leather requires a much lower, tightly controlled temperature than wood to brand cleanly. As an entry-level budget option, our standard wood branding iron can be paired with an external power controller to dial back the heat for leather. For professional, consistent results without the guesswork or ruined scrap, our advanced options feature built-in thermostats and digital displays to lock in the exact temperature required.
