Standard Custom Wood Branding Iron

Our Standard Custom Wood Branding Iron is the best choice for most logos, maker’s marks, and business branding applications. It is designed for customers who want a normal-sized branding mark without needing to choose an exact head size before we review the artwork.

This option covers an approximate branding area of 3–5 square inches. That does not mean the brand is 3" × 3" or 5" × 5". It means the overall artwork area is similar to common sizes such as 1" × 3", 1.5" × 3", 2" × 2", or approximately 2" × 2.5".

Your logo does not need to be square. It can be rectangular, wide, tall, round, or irregular. We will fit your artwork within this size range and send a proof before production so you can confirm the layout before we machine the branding head.

Handle options

Choose the handle style that best fits how you plan to use the branding iron.

Electric Handle
Best for most customers who want a simple plug-in option. The electric setup includes a stainless steel barrel, illuminated power switch, industrial power cord, and a rigid four-point locking connection between the handle and branding head for a more solid feel during use.

Torch-Heated Handle
A flame-heated option for customers who prefer not to use electricity. This is a simple, durable setup heated manually with a torch.

Premium construction

Each branding head is CNC-machined from brass for strong heat transfer and clean branding results on wood. Our brass heads are machined and stress-relieved to help reduce movement and distortion from repeated heating. The square-body construction also gives you flat reference edges, making it easier to align the brand to your workpiece using a square, jig, or fixture.

Proof before production

After you place your order and upload your artwork, we review the design and prepare a proof before machining. If the artwork needs adjustment for better branding results, we will let you know before production.
