Jumbo hamburger-bun branding with a 500W thermostatic handle

This large-format electric branding iron pairs our 500-watt thermostatic handle with a custom two-layer head: a 3/4-inch aluminum upper plate and a 1/2-inch stainless-steel food-contact plate fitted closely underneath. The stainless-steel plate is the surface that contacts the bun. It is slightly wider than the aluminum plate, leaving a narrow, even lip around the edge while the two layers remain tightly joined.

Artwork and size

Choose a circular head from 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter, or a rectangular design up to 1.5 × 3 inches. Send us your logo; we review the artwork and confirm a workable final layout before fabrication. Bold artwork generally marks a rounded bun more clearly than very fine detail.

Using a larger brand

The thermostatic handle helps control heat for a larger branding face. Test temperature and contact time on a spare bun first, since results vary with bun surface, recipe, and moisture. The 500W product image is an illustrative mockup based on our actual handle and showing the planned aluminum-and-stainless head; the final custom head will be made to your approved artwork.
